The Reflections at Dove Hollow opens October 25 with four private mirror houses, hot tubs and the U.S. debut of Stay ÖÖD’s larger two-room Big Monolith.
LONGVIEW, Texas – A new design-led forest stay is opening among the tall pines of East Texas this fall. The Reflections at Dove Hollow, created by sisters Madlyn and Natalie of Dove Hollow Estate in partnership with Stay ÖÖD, will welcome its first guests on October 25, 2026.
Set on the grounds of the established wedding venue, the new accommodation brings four mirrored houses to the property, each with its own private deck and hot tub. Guests can book them for a weekend escape in the woods, while couples getting married at Dove Hollow can now extend the celebration into a full wedding weekend with their closest people staying on-site.
A Premium Nature Retreat Two Hours From Dallas

Dove Hollow Estate
Surrounded by tall pines, the mirrored houses reflect the forest around them, allowing the architecture to almost disappear into the landscape. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows keep the woods constantly in view, while Scandinavian-inspired interiors bring the comfort of a considered hotel stay into a much more private setting. Each house has its own outdoor deck and hot tub, and dogs are welcome too.
Our retreat is the best of both worlds. You feel secluded and peaceful in the woods, but if you want to go out to dinner or need something, you are just a short drive away.

A New Kind of Bridal Stay
For couples getting married at Dove Hollow, the new houses change what the wedding weekend can look like.
Instead of treating accommodation as something separate from the celebration, couples can now keep more of the experience in one place. Brides can get ready among the pines, their closest friends and family can stay on-site, and newlyweds can end the night in their own private mirror house and hot tub just steps from the venue.
All four houses can also be booked together, giving couples the option to create a private wedding-weekend stay for their closest people.

“Over the last couple of years, lodging kept coming up as a need for our couples,” the sisters say. “When we saw the mirror houses, they felt perfect for our venue’s aesthetic and wooded property. We want our couples to feel at home during their wedding weekend, with the ease of being right by the venue and the uniqueness of the mirror house stay.”
The First Stay ÖÖD Big Monolith in the U.S.
The opening also marks the U.S. debut of Stay ÖÖD’s Big Monolith, a larger mirror house designed with a separate bedroom and living space.
Unlike the classic open-plan mirror houses, the two-room layout gives guests more space to settle in while keeping the same floor-to-ceiling connection with the landscape.
It joins three classic Stay ÖÖD mirror houses at Dove Hollow, bringing the property to four overnight stays in total.

A Family Story Rooted in East Texas
The sisters, who describe each other as best friends, founded Dove Hollow Estate 10 years ago after Natalie’s engagement, and hers was the first wedding held on the property. The land sits next door to the family homestead where they were raised, and over the years they have added a chapel and new amenities for their couples.
“East Texas is our home,” the sisters say. “For guests who come outside of a wedding, we hope these houses feel like a getaway retreat in the woods, a place to rest and enjoy the company of someone special.”
Beyond the Wedding Weekend
The Reflections at Dove Hollow is open to all guests, not only those attending weddings at the estate.
Tyler State Park, around 30 minutes away, offers kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking and biking through the Piney Woods. A number of wineries and breweries are also within a short drive.
Longview is officially known as the Balloon Capital of Texas and hosts the Great Texas Balloon Race each June, when hot-air balloons fill the East Texas sky.
