ÖÖD at Nook & Key Escapes opens on the Isle of Anglesey on 30 April 2026, bringing ÖÖD's mirror cabin concept to Wales for the first time. Set within a four-acre farm estate near Llangefni, the property sits at the gateway to one of the UK's most extraordinary and underreported landscapes, built by an operator with a generational connection to the island.
Back in 2017, I came home from a trade event completely burnt out. My wife and I escaped to a cabin in the Yorkshire Dales, and that trip changed everything. We kept returning to the same handful of places and asking ourselves why there wasn't a brand creating beautifully designed retreats you could trust across different locations. Y Glyn is the answer to that question, and building it on Anglesey, where my grandfather was born, makes it mean something far beyond hospitality

Anglesey
Wales has some of the most powerful natural landscapes in Europe, and it has been waiting for a property that does justice to them. This is exactly the kind of partnership ÖÖD was built for: a setting with genuine character, an operator with a clear vision, and a shared belief that nature should be at the centre of the experience rather than decoration around the edges of it
